These are your rules for racing! Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.


Beginning 2008 season FKA Racing, Inc. will endorse and race under AKRA ( American Kart Racing Association, Inc. ) kart rules, including engine rules. Rule books are available.
Note: Wolfe plates are Mandatory on all karts begining 2008 season
1. The best 6 races of 8 race series will determine the end of year points.You must race 6 races to be eligible for year end awards. ( in the same class )
2. 1st through 5th place winner - tear  down per FKA rules or lottery teardown.
3. No tools are allowed beyond pump around. No working on kart in the grid.
4. You can use a tire gauge to let  air out of  tires on grid. You cannot put air in a tire on the grid.
5. Race position to be determined by qualifying for a 20-lap feature. 
6. No working on karts by the pit crew after the race starts. One pit crew member will be allowed to start and/or restart a kart within the first lap of the start of the race. Driver must restart his/her kart after the first lap of the race. Driver or official must perform all work and starting of the kart after the first lap of the race. Red Flag Condition: NO WORKING ON KARTS  BY ANYONE. Penalty: BLACK FLAG. Exception at the discretion of the Race Director.
7. After one double-file restart, karts will be lined up single file for the start of the race. Any driver who causes an intentional delay in the start of the race will be put on tail. If judged as intentional jumping, you will be penalized one spot for each spot gained at end of race.
8. Pit crew/karting participant starting an argument resulting in physical confrontations will be disqualified for the year. No warning will be given. (FKA Official will determine who started the argument).
9. Must have approved Snell 2000 helmet, gloves, neck brace, jacket, or racing suit and shoes on during the event.
10. When flagged with the move over flag for one lap and it is ignored, you will be black flagged for that race. When black flagged for any reason, you must leave the track immediately.
11. All karts involved in an accident will be placed in the rear of the line-up at restart, regardless if you caused the accident. Red Flag Condition: Stop where you are and wait for instructions.
12. Infractions of any rule or rules may result in exclusion or expulsion from the event or, in extreme cases, suspension or expulsion from FKA.
13. Anyone approaching the Race Director, Flagman, Turn Marshall or any Official, in an argumentative manner is subject to be ejected from the race track for that event and cause the associated driver and kart to be black flagged.
14. No one other than the Officials or directed individuals are allowed on the track. Penalty: Black Flag of the karter - Official's opinion.
15. NO OPEN FLAME: No Torches Allowed. Violaters will be escorted from the premises.
16. Karts will display numbers only 0 - 99 ( no letters or triple numbers )
17. Billet Rods OK....In All FKA Classes.
18. If you meet the age requirement before the FKA season ends, you may move up in class. Once you move up, you can not move back.
19. All fuel must be in Red Container or a container marked clearly with
red labeling ( Fuel Only )
20. All Trailers will maintain at least one up to date ABC fire extinquisher, Located at side door or rear entrance of trailer.

22. The THREE NO's Any one of which will get you loaded up and OUT!!
