FKA classes for 2010

 

FKA Racing will not charge a membership fee this year (helping out when we can)

Our registration fee for each class entered will be the same as last year: $55
Note: FKA Racing will be racing a 6 race POINTS series in 2010. Must run 5 of 6 races to be eligible for year end awards. There will be NO Drops. But you could be the class champion if your 5 race total in points is more than your competitors 6 race total. Your points will be added up for the six races and the competitor with the most points will be the class champion. Competitors who race all 6 races will receive 25 BONUS points.  There will also be 25 bonus points for everyone who attends race #4 . Even though there are no drops, if you have a legitimate excuse you may have someone substitute for you in one race, you do not have to be present at that race. You do have to clear this prior to the race with registration. Some examples for a substitute driver would be a death in the family, graduation, broken shoulder, getting married, to name a few. NO Hot Shoes will be allowed to substitute your last race just cause you don't feel good!!!

End of year awards will include Leather Champions Jackets, and TMC race jackets for everyone who races 5 of the 6 races. Brass Eagles, Trophies and tires.

**Top 10** finishes in each class (end of season) will get an invitational to the Maxxis National in October.

 

Tire Program for 2010: All Classes will run Maxxis tires ( any compound )

All Senior Box Stock Classes: Maxxis EL tires Only
SPECIAL NOTE: Must have 8 entries to start a class and beginning with 2nd race must maintain 6 entries per race to qualify for year end awards.
All BSP engines must run Stamped Steel drum/shoe clutch, any tooth driver, any rear gear

Note: There will be a $200 claimer rule in place for all BSP engines. If you refuse to give up your engine you will be terminated from that class for the remainder of the year. First person to put up the $200 gets to claim the engine.
How the Claimer rule works: If you finish in the top 5 of your class you have the right to claim the winners engine for $200 (Non Refundable if the engine is legal). Engine will be teched to determine if legal. You have 10 minutes from the time you weigh out to fill out the claim form and put up the money. In the Jr. Sportsman 1 & 2 classes (where flatheads are mixed) only the BSP engines can participate in the Claimer rule. The person claiming the engine gets a Naked engine after being teched and found legal, thats right all accessories are taken off, including header system, fuel pump, top plate, throttle kit, filter and air filter adapter, chain guard and clutch. Important Note: Head tech official will be the final word on any issues involving the claimer rule. FKA Racing retains the right to claim any BSP engine, first place to last place in any class. You will give up your engine (less the accessories) and FKA Racing will (Exchange) give you a New engine.
